    A shower enclosure is a walled-off area that only contains a shower. It's generally built in a corner or along the edge of the bathroom to make use of the existing walls. Shower enclosures were once attached to the bathtub and were rather plain, but they are no longer.

    The first thing First Choice Pros will do is help you select the right type of shower enclosure for your bathroom. Once that's done, when we arrive with the materials, we'll shut off your home's water before beginning the installation. Next, we'll remove your existing shower stall if applicable. If there isn't one, we'll run new plumbing to this area.


    After this, we'll prepare the area for the new enclosure. Prep will include installing backer board behind the new tile, caulking and sealing where needed (waterproofing), and adding the proper type of drain in the floor. Once we add your new fixtures, we'll turn the water back on. Next, we'll drill holes to anchor the enclosure to the walls, and we'll install the glass sides and door. We'll also perform the final caulking and sealing.
